Syrian women who have come to the UK can find it difficult to settle into a new way of life.
Women and girls are also disproportionately affected by social and economic challenges – but if you can improve their access to education, employment and other resources, it can strengthen the whole community.
Our project aims to support Syrian women and increase equality through community initiatives, training, education and professional development and positively impact their self-confidence as active citizens.
This project was delivered in collaboration with Nottingham City Council – Syrian resettlement project.
